Day One NaNoWriMo 2015
NaNoWriMo Day One
Yesterday was day one of National Novel Writer’s Month 2015. As I write this post, I’m working on an outline for the novel I plan to write for my first NaNoWriMo.
By the time you read this, I should have completed the first 1667 words for my new novel.
I’ve decided to take this time and write a first draft to the prequel to my novel Crossroad In Time; due for publication at the end of the year.
This new novel will give the background of the main antagonist in Crossroad In Time. It will explain how he became the person he is and why he antagonizes my protagonist.
As I mentioned in my last post, I’m relying heavily on The Story Grid to not only help in outlining the novel but in identifying the genre, theme, external conflict, and internal conflict of the protagonist in my book. Working title: Breakout Prequel
Wish me luck as I put fingers to keyboard and work my way through 1667 words a day, minimum for the next 29 days.
